Sounds a great alternative to "lets catch up for a coffee" .....a quiet beer and some seafood, a very civilized way to catch up with friends!

Having migrated from the Pacific Northwest a few years ago I can't tell you how excited I am about the prospect of an alternative to the standard Australian beer. And if it's anything like I've experienced in the States - this will be a welcomed diversion from the agressive Australian bar. Good work boys, this sounds awesome!

What a brilliant new business in a great location! I reckon this is just the type of diverse food and drink concept which attracts residents to the'happening' city fringe. Small local breweries are by nature about unique local character and of course provide an alternative to generic or big name beers available everywhere.
Can't wait to you open fellas..

At some sad point in the future, with rates and maintenance costs soaring, some development of this land will have to occur, or government pay the upkeep. Surely sanity will prevail, and sensitive development will occur. Far better to work together on this.

Core problem for the CityCycle Scheme is there are few people who want to use a CityCycle for their transport. That situation is unlikely to change dramatically even if the contract is renegotiated. Money isn't the real barrier. People's willingness (or ability) to convert to cycle transport from other forms of transport is. If you exclude the infirm, elderly, people with children, etc etc the pool of potential users shrinks considerably. Add in those who already have their own cycles and the pool of potential users shrinks even further. Brisbane's weather, hilly terrain, road conditions are also deterents to CityCycling. CityCycle Scheme was propelled by environmental enthusiasm rather than good business sense and BCC is now paying the price. CitCycle Scheme is a classic White Elephant but even if City Cycles eventually disappear from Brisbane's Streets, the Advertising Hoardings will be here to stay.

As a local resident I think this sounds like a fantastic business and fits perfectly into this neighbourhood. It is unique ventures like this that make Tenerife the popular and quirky place it is. I, for one, cannot wait for it to open. And as for suggesting this venture will attract a rowdy crowd.... How insulting! It's a boutique brewery not a nightclub in the Valley! If anything this will attract a more upmarket crowd and add value to the neighbourhood. Some people just dont like change!
